Discover the relationship between writing and movement. We will explore the connections between mind and the body. Join us to play with the possibilities of moving, breathing, writing and free-flowing on both the paper and the mat.

All types of writers and all types of yogis are welcome to Pen, Paper & Poses. This workshop is a fun way to get the creative juices flowing, find inspiration and share with fellow writers. Weaving together physical yoga, writing prompts, and specific exercises, this Compose Yoga workshop includes: 

  • Pranayama to breathe life into your characters 

  • Expressive movements to add your unique style to your writings

  • Foundational poses and alignment for plot strength 

  • Muscular tension translated into plot tension

  • Peak Poses and Plot Climaxes

  • Writer’s Block: Mantra practice to unlock and unblock

We will explore movement and journal prompts for personal growth, self-expression, and perspective.
